The bodyweight row is perhaps the easiest and most accessible back exercise, and can be used by both beginners and strong people alike. It works the biceps, trapezius and rhomboids. You will need either a bar that is at waist height, or a suspension trainer hanging from a pull-up bar.
1. To perform the bodyweight row grab the bar or suspension trainer with an overhand grip, and position your body as is shown in the pictures.
2. Keeping your body straight, pull yourself towards the bar or suspension trainer, bending your elbows, and attempting to squeeze your shoulder blades together. Keep going until your chest is level with your hands.
